Photographics - blending the background

In this photograph, if your attention is directed closely at the background you should experience the subtle blend. The overlayed Gaussian blur has created an enchanting eye sight of what is behind the main focus. This smeared background, is so that it will relentlessly divert your attention to the main object of the picture which is sitting closer to the bottom half. Focus and blur effect is one of the most powerful features used today in photography to capture audience attention directly to the object while creating a surreal background as in this photograph.
